Weng Lee is one of the few consultants
who has consulted and worked across the Total &
Service Quality Management and HR fields. He has experience
in both consulting and in-house line roles across Banking,
Manufacturing, FMCG, Chemicals, BPO and Consulting industries.
Prior to launching his own consulting career, he worked
in China, where he led and completed the HR integration
of two large multinational companies, Pernod Ricard
and Allied Domecq. In his regional HR role with ICI
Paints Asia Pacific, he was responsible for developing
the ICI China College program, a unique program sponsored
by the Global CEO to develop the ICI talent pipeline,
high potential identification, assessment centre and
development & talent management system in China,
India and throughout Asia. He also led organization
development interventions for ICI in the mature Malaysian
market and the fast growing Vietnamese market. For his
contributions in Organisational Development for ICI
Paints Asia Pacific, he was awarded the “HR Leadership
Award 2006” by the World HRD Congress.
In consulting roles, he has managed CEO-level assessment
and placements, developed new businesses and market
entry strategies, and created an HR panel that built
relationships with key clients to tap their industry
expertise.
Weng Lee graduated from the Maastricht School of Management
with a Masters of Business Administration (specializing
in Human Resources Management and Consultancy) and has
a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Psychology
from the National University of Singapore.
