Carl Redondo is an International Benefits Consultant based in Hewitt’s Hong Kong office. He acts as the market manager and benefits practice leader for Hewitt’s Hong Kong office and as the lead consultant for regional benefits consulting. He has been working in Asia for nearly three years including 18 months in Korea establishing the local benefits consulting practice and also spent seven years working as a consultant in Hewitt’s International Benefits Practice out of London.

He specializes in advising local, international and multinational companies operating in Asia about all areas of their benefit programs; and in providing advice related to mergers and acquisitions, particularly in Hong Kong, the PRC and Korea. He is also a leading expert on the pensions issues associated with mobile employees in Asia and provides significant advice to companies who are looking for pension solutions for their mobile workforce.

Carl is a contributing writer to International Pensions magazine and Investments & Pensions Asia. He has also contributed various articles to the English language press in Korea. Carl is a UK-qualified Actuary.
